Factories and power plants generate a large quantity of wasted heat in the process of cooling. The temperature of such heat is relatively low, mostly less than 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it has been dumped into the ocean, rivers and the atmosphere despite a number of manufacturing companies' desire for the secondary use of the heat.
However, our OTEC technology based on the Uehara Cycle, which uses the mixture of ammonia and water, enables us to reutilize the low heat source to generate electricity. This method is an application of the technology developed for OTEC.
