4-1. Desalination After warm surface and cold deep seawater is used for OTEC, there still remains 10 degrees Celsius difference in temperature between them. Ocean Thermal Energy Desalination (OTED) can utilize the seawater to obtain fresh water. This system is OTEC and OTED Hybrid system.
