Mr. Idei established a company "Quantum Leaps", which supports and produces creation of new industries and new businesses, with the aim at contributing to enhancement of medium-and long-term industrial competitiveness, development of entrepreneurs, and solution of problems that Japan faces.

Mr. Idei expressed his opinion and commented that: "The most crucial issue in the future of 21st century is food, water, and environment issue, especially "water" I recognize.
Xenesys's OTEC and DTEC technologies and other technologies related to them are environmentally friendly. Furthermore, Xenesys's technology produces water, which is indeed great. Although those technologies need a long-term running start to become a sleeper hit, once the time comes, they leap. The reason of the establishment of "Quantum Leaps" is to support companies like Xenesys with the purpose of contributing to future of Japan. We started this business from November 2006." |
