Speech by Mr. Kiminao SATOMI, President of Xenesys Inc.:

Thank you very much for the kind invitation to this awarding ceremony.

I am much honored to be able to receive this unexpected major award.
However, since our company has been only following our passion after the Great Hanshin Earthquake, we even feel embarrassed to the prize.

20th century was an economic century, and that was not bad in itself at all. The era has brought us prosperity.
But 21st century, I think viewpoint of which economic activity is conducted in the environment is vitally important.

In 1815, Switzerland was approved as a permanent neutral country at Vienna Congress.
About us, Japan, I think we need to be approved as a permanent environmental nation by the world.

Having been said "Man's spirit of adventure and woman's discontented", I have been eagerly running toward the romance.

As the only one in the field of our business, I have always had confidence and pride to project from Japan to the world while having experienced disappointments.

The reason why I can be here today is because of yells from supporters and my wife's assurance, which is groundless, saying "you are alright".

This grand prize is more than I can dream of, and has become a wonderful present to my wife, who always forgives my selfishness, and young staff members, who challenge what has no solid reputation, and supporters, who always send me yells.

I will continuously climb toward "clouds over the slope".
I would like to sincerely extend my gratitude for God.

Thank you very much.
