The first day session of "Forum in Palau on Seawater Desalination by Renewable Energy", a Forum co-hosted by Palau government and Saga University, Japan, was held here yesterday. Palau as well as other nations in the South Pacific Ocean is facing to troubles by global warming and shortage of drinking water. This is a very timely get-together by head of states and high-ranking officials of more than 15 countries in the Pacific region.
