"Forum in Palau on Seawater Desalination by Renewable Energy" closed its final day session on Oct. 16 with the "Palau Declaration" which has dealt with various issues on water and energy. The Declaration pointed out that an Action Plan for technological establishment of desalination and OTEC power etc. should be worked out by 2005.
