[Brief translation]
During the session of the Saga Water Forum held here yesterday Tuvaluan Ambassador to the United Nations, strongly appealed to the world
society to do everything to stop global warming. His country Tuvalu is an island nation in the South Pacific Ocean with 10,000 populations in
the total area of 260,000 m2. He made a grave comment at the session, saying that his country might be submerged by rising seawater, if our
dependence on fossil fuel such as oil keeps pace with current rate of consumption.
