Japanese Energy Recycle Technology, DTEC comes to Saudi Arabia
[Brief translation]
Xenesys Inc., one of Japanese engineering firms has developed DTEC (Discharged Thermal Energy Conversion) system, which can generate electric power and/or produce desalinated water, utilizing Waste Heat in various kinds of industrial plants.
Waste Heat can be found at any facility for such as Oil refinery, Chemical/Petrochemical, Diesel Generation, Cement Production and the existing Multi Stages Flush Desalination.
Xenesys Inc. is the exclusive licensee of Japanese patents with respect to OTEC (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion) Technology, which is the original technology of DTEC. Patent holder is Japanese government (actually, Saga University which is one of national universities in Japan).
Patents have been registered in many countries in addition to Japan and some applications for patents rights have been submitted in the Kingdom, too. Saga University has Institute of Ocean Energy to which Xenesys Inc supplied a demonstration plant of OTEC system.
The actual operation of OTEC system is being carried out for students' studying based on setting of various difference of temperature of water.
Further, it was decided by NEDO (The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, a semi-governmental organization under Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry ) to introduce DTEC system in the existing Oil Refinery in Chiba Prefecture, Japan as the joint research project named Strategic Development of Energy Conservation Technologies, Pilot Research on Energy Conservation Technologies, and Development of Low-grade Industrial Heat Conversion Technologies.
Xenesys Inc has been providing technical assistance for DTEC system in this project.

In order to promote the business of DTEC system in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Xenesys Inc has founded a joint venture company named "Xenesys Arabia" together with nine Saudi Arabian individuals as mentioned below;
