About Ocean Research Area “Demonstration Field”
Japan (Headquarters for Ocean Policy within the Cabinet Secretariat) will
work for improvement of Ocean Research Area, in cooperation with local
government to reduce development cost, uplift motivation of private sector,
including venture companies, furthermore, to enhance our country’s marine
industries’ international competitiveness, and also contribute to
revitalization of local economy by accumulation of related industries.
